Biology Subject Matter Expert (AI Training)

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do
Design advanced biology problems and challenges to test AI reasoning capabilities
Develop clear, rigorous, step-by-step solutions that serve as gold-standard references
Evaluate AI-generated outputs for scientific accuracy, logical consistency, and quality
Collaborate with researchers to build and refine benchmarks spanning undergraduate to Master's-level biology topics
Provide structured written feedback to guide AI model improvement
Who You Are
Currently pursuing or have completed a Master's degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a closely related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across advanced biology domains
Able to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and precisely in writing
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in an async environment
No prior AI experience required — your subject matter expertise is what matters
Nice to Have
Experience with data annotation, data quality review, or evaluation workflows
Familiarity with how large language models (LLMs) work
Background spanning multiple biology subfields (e.g., genetics, cell biology, physiology, ecology)
