Junior SDET

We're looking for a hands-on Software QA Engineer (SDET) with strong experience in automation testing across web, API, and backend services. You will design robust test automation, improve product quality, and work closely with engineering teams to ship reliable, high-quality software.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automation test suites using Python.
Build and execute web automation using Cypress or Playwright.
Develop and run API tests (REST/GraphQL) using Python-based frameworks or tools like Postman/Newman.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and basic performance testing.
Contribute to CI/CD pipeline testing (GitHub Actions/Jenkins/GitLab).
Write clear test cases, scenarios, and documentation.
Identify bugs, track issues, and work closely with developers to ensure quick resolution.
Collaborate with Product and Engineering in an agile environment to ensure high-quality releases.
Requirements:
2-5 years of experience in QA Automation.
Strong coding skills in Python (OOP, test frameworks, utilities).
Hands-on experience with Cypress or Playwright for UI automation.
Solid experience with API testing and automation (REST APIs, Python requests, Postman/Newman).
Good understanding of test frameworks like Pytest, Playwright Test Runner, or Cypress.
Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with cloud-based environments (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Good-to-Have:
Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust).
Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or similar environments.
Exposure to microservices and distributed systems.
Experience in security or fintech domains.
