AI/ML Research Intern — OxAstra Private Limited
OxAstra Private Limited is looking for AI/ML Research Interns to work on real-world AI systems focused on defence, surveillance, and public safety.
As an intern, you will work closely with our team on real-time computer vision, object detection, tracking, model optimization, and edge AI systems.
KEY FOCUS AREAS
• Real-Time Surveillance AI & Defence Vision
• Urban Police Analytics & Edge Model Optimization
• Custom YOLO Training & Real-Time Object Tracking (ByteTrack)
• TensorRT Quantization & Optimization
• AI model deployment for real-world applications
MUST-HAVE SKILLS
• Strong Python & PyTorch knowledge
• Experience with modern Object Detection & Computer Vision architectures such as YOLO, RT-DETR, etc.
• Understanding of Model Export & Acceleration Pipelines — PyTorch → ONNX → TensorRT
• Strong mathematical and algorithmic fundamentals, including IoU, mAP, and coordinate geometry
• Linux CLI, Git, and Bash preferred
