About the role

Description supplied by the original job listing.

About Weave
Weave is a supply chain consulting firm specializing in end-to-end connectivity across the value chain. Our mission is to connect business dots through deep supply chain and product knowledge, working closely with clients from product development through to customer delivery.
We support organizations across the consumer goods ecosystem—including raw material suppliers, manufacturers, sourcing offices, brands, and retailers—through strategy formulation, operating model design, organization change, and capability building. Founded by the TAL Group, Weave builds on over 70 years of global sourcing, manufacturing, and distribution experience, with teams based in Hong Kong, Singapore, Vietnam, and the United Kingdom.
The Role
As a Director, you will provide strategic leadership across Weave's most complex and highest-stakes consulting engagements, with full accountability for outcomes across multiple teams and concurrent projects. You will own the entire project lifecycle—from defining strategic problems and scoping solutions through to execution and impact delivery—while maintaining alignment with senior and C-level client stakeholders.
Beyond delivery, Directors are expected to drive firm growth through business development, shape Weave's presence and authority in key industry sectors, and build the leadership capability of Engagement Managers and Senior Consultants across the firm.
Key Responsibilities
Engagement Leadership
Lead and oversee large, complex engagements, managing multiple teams (3+ members) and/or concurrent projects with full accountability for outcomes
Own the entire project lifecycle, from defining strategic problems and scoping solutions to driving execution and ensuring impact delivery
Maintain senior client alignment throughout, providing strategic leadership to C-level stakeholders and influencing decisions through exceptional problem-solving and industry insight
Business Growth
Drive business growth by developing robust business development strategies, leading high-stakes pitches, and actively contributing to revenue generation through sales and marketing initiatives
Capability & Team Leadership
Demonstrate mastery in leadership, effectively managing Engagement Managers and Senior Consultants to deliver excellence across all workstreams
Champion capability building by designing advanced training programs and embedding best practices across the firm
Industry Authority
Establish industry authority by deepening expertise in key sectors and representing the firm through thought leadership and external engagements
What We're Looking For
Extensive experience leading management consulting engagements at a senior level, ideally within supply chain or operations-focused roles
Proven track record managing multiple teams and concurrent, high-complexity engagements with full P&L or outcome accountability
Demonstrated success influencing and advising C-level stakeholders
Strong track record in business development, including leading high-stakes pitches and contributing directly to revenue generation
Experience designing capability-building programs and developing junior leaders (Engagement Managers, Senior Consultants)
Recognized expertise or thought leadership within one or more consumer goods/supply chain sectors
Excellent problem-solving, structuring, and analytical skills, with clear, confident communication at the executive level
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related discipline; advanced degrees are an advantage
Prior experience in a consulting environment is strongly preferred
This role is based on the US West Coast, with flexibility to work across time zones and travel as required to support global client engagements.
