Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Business Development Manager. The Business Development Manager will identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, and develop strategies to grow revenue in target markets. Daily activities include researching potential clients, qualifying leads, preparing proposals and presentations, negotiating contracts, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure successful onboarding and service delivery. The role also involves monitoring market trends, gathering competitive intelligence, and providing feedback to leadership on product and service improvements. The individual will be expected to meet defined sales and business development targets while upholding the company’s standards of professionalism and customer service.
Qualifications
Demonstrated ability in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the chemical or related industrial sectors.
Strong skills in relationship building, negotiation, and stakeholder management, with a focus on long-term customer partnerships.
Competence in market research, lead generation, and pipeline management using CRM or similar tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare proposals, reports, and presentations for diverse audiences.
Solid organizational and time-management abilities, with capacity to work independently in a remote environment and meet performance goals.
Comfort with digital tools and remote collaboration platforms; proficiency in MS Office or similar productivity software.
Knowledge of chemical industry regulations, safety standards, and supply chain considerations is an advantage.
