Role Description The Research Ambassador is a full-time remote role responsible for representing DataChill’s research initiatives to internal and external audiences. In this position, the individual will help identify relevant research topics, support data collection efforts, and summarize findings in clear, accessible formats. Daily activities include collaborating with research and product teams, preparing briefs and presentations, and communicating insights to partners, communities, or clients. The role also involves engaging with stakeholders to understand their information needs, gathering feedback on research outputs, and suggesting improvements to enhance clarity and impact. The Research Ambassador will contribute to maintaining high standards of data ethics, documentation, and transparency across all projects.
Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to understand and explain research concepts and data-driven findings in clear, concise language.
Experience engaging with stakeholders or communities, including gathering feedback and adapting messages to different audiences.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with comfort creating presentations, summaries, and reports.
Basic familiarity with research methods or data analysis tools; ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical team members.
High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a remote, full-time environment.
Commitment to ethical data practices, confidentiality, and accuracy in handling information.
Relevant education or experience in fields such as social science, data science, communications, public policy, or a related area.
Interest in ongoing learning about data, research techniques, and emerging trends in evidence-based decision-making.
