Sr. Tech Lead - Application Development N 4D

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Tech Lead - Application Development N 4D based in Canada.
This role combines technical leadership, application development, integration expertise, and end-to-end project coordination in a hybrid environment. You’ll work directly with customers to understand their strategies, challenges, and business objectives and translate them into effective technology solutions. The position focuses heavily on Workday integrations, application configuration, and ERP project delivery across complex business processes. You’ll contribute throughout the project lifecycle, from fit-gap analysis and solution design through development, testing, launch, and completion. The role requires strong hands-on technical capabilities alongside project management and stakeholder collaboration skills. You’ll also work with sensitive data and enterprise systems where security, reliability, and delivery quality are critical.
Accountabilities
Partner with customers to understand their strategies, challenges, business processes, and technology objectives.
Manage and coordinate projects end to end, ensuring successful delivery against scope, timelines, and business requirements.
Design, configure, and develop applications and integrations to meet business process and application requirements.
Lead Workday integration development and understand Workday integration execution and launch parameters.
Contribute across all project phases, including requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and implementation.
Develop and maintain Workday integrations using Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Web Services APIs, XML, and XSLT.
Work with Workday Core Connectors, including Worker and Payroll, as well as PECI, Cloud Connect for Worker, CCB, CCTPP, PICOF, and related integration technologies.
Configure and support custom reports and calculated fields within Workday.
Apply knowledge of Workday security configuration and enterprise data protection requirements.
Handle PII, compensation, and other confidential data in accordance with applicable security and business requirements.
Use Linux and shell scripting where required to support application and integration activities.
Apply functional knowledge of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Procurement, Expenses, Projects, Revenue Management, Inventory, Financial Reporting, and Asset Management.
Coordinate with technical and business stakeholders to resolve issues, manage priorities, and maintain delivery progress.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology, or a Master’s degree in Software Engineering.
Strong professional experience in application development and enterprise integration, with significant hands-on Workday integration experience.
Proven experience managing ERP projects from initiation through successful completion.
Strong knowledge of Workday and Workday Integration.
Hands-on experience with EIB, Workday Web Services APIs, XML, and XSLT.
Experience with Workday Core Connectors, including Worker and Payroll, PECI, Cloud Connect for Worker, CCB, CCTPP, and PICOF.
Knowledge of Workday security configuration, custom reports, and calculated fields.
Experience working with PII, compensation, confidential information, and enterprise security requirements.
Working knowledge of Linux and shell scripting.
Understanding of relevant finance and enterprise resource planning processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Procurement, Expenses, Projects, Revenue Management, Inventory, Financial Reporting, and Asset Management.
Strong project management, coordination, and stakeholder communication skills.
Experience working with Agile methodologies.
Ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.
Strong problem-solving, organization, and collaboration skills.
Professional proficiency in English, equivalent to C2 level.
Experience with Actimize is required.
Relevant certifications or training in Workday, Oracle, Java, or related technologies are an asset.

Compensation range of CA$60,000–CA$105,000.
