About the Role
As a Senior Product Manager at RazorMetrics, you will own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for specific area of our platform. You will lead a team of engineers to turn claims at scale into savings and other opportunities that prescribers accept and members actually receive. You'll operate at the intersection of clinical logic, claims data, payer economics, and applied AI. Scope may include, but not limited to: Pharmacy claims intelligence, new savings opportunity products, adherence solutions, prescriber and member engagement and native AI product develop for new innovations.
What You'll Need
Own the strategy and roadmap for your product/functional area
Drive high-velocity execution with engineers, data science and design balancing principled intuition with data-driven decision making
Work fluently in pharmacy claims data — write your own queries, interrogate the numbers yourself, and be the acknowledged expert on how your product behaves
Run discovery with prescribers, members and customers; define validated problem statements and de-risk assumptions before engineers are asked to build
Prototype rapidly with Claude, Claude Code, and Cursor to compress the distance between an idea and a production-ready product. Comfortable with A/B testing.
Coordinate major releases across multiple scrum teams and deliver products that hit their expected outcomes
Stay deeply plugged AI and payer and pharmacy industry trends, filtering signal from noise and applying it creatively to new product innovations
What you need
BS/BA in a technical, analytical, or business field, and a minimum of 5 years in product management with a record of shipping in complex or regulated domains
Familiarity with pharmacy claims data and data products is strongly preferred — PBM data, formulary and benefit design, NDC/GPI drug classification, or adjudication workflows
Fluency in data and how to make data-driven product decisions; comfortable writing SQL and working directly with large, imperfect datasets
Strong customer empathy and design thinking, with the ability to abstract clinical and operational complexity behind an interface people will actually use
Demonstrated ability to lead and influence teams of engineers, data scientists, and designers
Ability to align stakeholders across clinical, ops, engineering, compliance, sales, and client success
Excellent written and verbal communication, including presenting to large, senior audiences
Demonstrated expertise with modern AI tools including prototyping tools (Claude, Claude Code, Cursor in your daily work to research, prototype, and ship, and you stay current as the tooling changes; comfort with Figma, Atlassian Suite (JIRA, Confluence) and GitHub
Nice-to-Haves
Experience at a PBM, Health Plan, self-funded employer, pharmacy technology company, or digital health startup
Experience with EHR and e-prescribing integration (Surescripts, NCPDP SCRIPT, HL7/FHIR)
Background in fast-paced, high-growth startup environments
Experience shipping products with a significant AI/LLM component, including evaluation, prompt engineering, and guardrails for high-stakes outputs
Working knowledge of HIPAA, PHI handling, and healthcare data governance
