Vice President of Global Business Operations

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Vice President of Global Business Operations to lead the company’s global business operations strategy and drive consistent execution across regions, business units, and functional teams.
The VP of Global Business Operations will work closely with the CEO and executive leadership team to translate corporate strategy into global operating priorities, improve organizational efficiency, strengthen cross-regional coordination, and establish scalable operating models that support continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the company’s global business operations strategy.
Lead business operations across multiple regions, markets, and business units.
Translate corporate objectives into global operating plans, priorities, and measurable outcomes.
Establish consistent operating processes, standards, and governance across regions.
Coordinate business operations across Operations, Finance, Sales, Marketing, Product, Technology, and Customer Success.
Establish global KPIs, performance dashboards, reporting standards, and operating reviews.
Monitor regional and company-wide business performance and identify operational gaps.
Drive cross-regional initiatives that improve efficiency, productivity, and execution.
Partner with regional leadership to align local priorities with global business objectives.
Support market expansion, new business launches, and organizational growth initiatives.
Develop scalable operating models for new markets and business units.
Partner with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, resource allocation, and workforce planning.
Identify opportunities to improve processes through technology, automation, and operational redesign.
Establish effective governance and decision-making processes across global operations.
Monitor operational risks, dependencies, and business continuity requirements.
Lead major global transformation and strategic execution initiatives.
Develop and maintain relationships with key global partners and service providers.
Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing global business operations organization.
Executive Leadership
Serve as a senior operating partner to the CEO and executive leadership team.
Provide leadership with visibility into global business performance and operational priorities.
Align regional leadership teams around company-wide strategic objectives.
Establish accountability for global operating performance.
Facilitate cross-regional decision-making and resolve operational challenges.
Help develop the company’s long-term global operating model.
Support executive planning for international growth and business expansion.

Qualifications
15+ years of experience in business operations, global operations, strategy, management consulting, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in senior operational or business leadership roles.
Proven experience managing operations across multiple regions or business units.
Strong understanding of global operating models, business processes, and organizational planning.
Demonstrated ability to translate corporate strategy into operational execution.
Experience leading cross-functional and cross-regional initiatives.
Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
Experience with budgeting, resource planning, and performance management.
Excellent executive communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Experience working with CEOs, executive teams, and regional leadership.
Ability to operate effectively across different markets and business environments.
Willingness to travel internationally as required.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
Preferred Background
Candidates with a background in Global Business Operations, International Operations, Strategic Operations, Enterprise Operations, Business Operations, Strategy Execution, Operational Excellence, Business Transformation, Market Expansion, Program Management, Corporate Strategy, or Management Consulting are preferred. Experience within Financial Services, FinTech, Technology / SaaS, AI & Data, Digital Infrastructure, Energy / Infrastructure, or other high-growth companies is also valued, particularly for candidates who have managed multi-region operations, supported international expansion, or built scalable global operating organizations.
What Success Looks Like
Within the first 12–18 months, the successful executive will establish a scalable global operating framework, improve coordination between regional and corporate teams, strengthen performance visibility, and create consistent operating standards across key markets.
The VP will also support international expansion, improve resource allocation, strengthen cross-regional execution, and build a global business operations organization capable of supporting the company’s next stage of growth.
