Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Surveyor role based in Kolkata. The Surveyor will be responsible for conducting land and site surveys, taking accurate measurements, and preparing detailed survey reports and drawings for construction projects. Daily tasks include using surveying instruments (such as total stations, levels, and GPS), setting out reference points, verifying elevations and alignments, and coordinating with site engineers and project managers. The role also involves maintaining survey records, ensuring data accuracy, assisting in resolving site-level measurement or alignment issues, and complying with safety and quality standards at all times.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong practical skills in land and construction surveying, including site measurement, leveling, and setting out works.
Candidates should possess skills in using surveying instruments and tools such as total stations, auto levels, GPS devices, and related equipment.
Candidates should possess skills in preparing and interpreting survey drawings, site plans, and basic CAD or mapping software for documentation.
Candidates should possess skills in data recording, maintaining survey logs, and verifying measurements to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
Candidates should possess effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and project managers.
Relevant technical education in civil engineering, surveying, or a related field (diploma or degree) is preferred.
Prior experience in construction or infrastructure projects in a surveyor role will be an added advantage.
Ability to work on-site in varying field conditions, follow safety guidelines, and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
