Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer role based in Jamnagar. The Civil Engineer will oversee planning, design, and execution of infrastructure and construction projects, including roads, stormwater systems, buildings, and related works. Daily responsibilities include preparing and reviewing drawings and technical specifications, coordinating with contractors and project teams, monitoring site activities, and ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The role involves conducting site inspections, resolving technical issues, tracking project progress, and preparing reports and documentation. The Civil Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support timely, cost-effective, and compliant project delivery.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to apply engineering principles to infrastructure and construction projects.
Experience working as Civil Engineers on-site, managing project execution and providing technical guidance to site teams.
Competence in Planning, including project scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination of construction activities.
Knowledge of Stormwater Management practices and standards, especially in road, urban, and infrastructure development.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations for infrastructure and building projects.
Proficiency in engineering and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, civil design tools) and MS Office.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a site-based environment.
Prior experience in highways, urban development, MES, or similar infrastructure projects is an advantage.
