Role Description The MEPF Modeler is responsible for developing accurate and coordinated mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection (MEPF) models using BIM tools, primarily Revit, for building and infrastructure projects. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting design drawings and specifications, creating detailed 3D models, updating models based on design changes, and supporting clash detection and coordination with architectural and structural teams. The role involves preparing shop drawings, assisting in quantity take-offs for MEPF systems, and collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, and other modelers to maintain consistent standards and timelines. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Delhi Area, requiring regular interaction with cross-functional teams and adherence to BIMidea’s quality and delivery standards.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Revit and BIM tools for MEPF modeling, including experience with 3D modeling, family creation, and model coordination.
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems, with the ability to interpret design drawings, technical specifications, and MEPF standards.
Experience supporting clash detection, design coordination, and construction/shop drawing preparation within multidisciplinary project environments.
Familiarity with quantity take-off, BOQ preparation, and basic understanding of MEP procurement workflows and documentation.
Attention to detail, ability to work within defined BIM standards, and strong organizational skills for managing multiple project models and deadlines.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site in the Greater Delhi Area as part of a coordinated project team.
Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related engineering discipline; prior experience in BIM/MEPF modeling for building projects is highly desirable.
