Role Description The Washer role at The Laundry Solutions is a full-time, on-site position based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The individual in this role will be responsible for sorting laundry by fabric type and color, loading and operating washing machines, and selecting appropriate detergents and wash cycles. Daily tasks include checking garments for stains and damage, pre-treating stains as needed, and ensuring that washing equipment is clean and functioning correctly. The role also involves following safety and hygiene procedures, maintaining a clean work area, and coordinating with team members to ensure laundry is processed on schedule. The Washer will be expected to follow company guidelines, meet productivity targets, and provide consistent quality in all washing activities.
Qualifications
Ability to sort, wash, and handle different types of fabrics, with attention to color care and garment labels.
Experience or comfort in operating industrial or commercial washing machines and related laundry equipment.
Strong attention to detail for identifying stains, damage, and special care requirements before washing.
Basic understanding of safety and hygiene practices in a laundry or cleaning environment.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move laundry bags, and perform repetitive tasks safely.
Reliable time management skills and ability to follow schedules to meet daily processing targets.
Willingness to learn standard operating procedures and follow instructions consistently.
Previous experience in laundry services, housekeeping, or a similar role is an advantage but not required.
