Role Description The Head of School will provide academic and operational leadership for the NGO’s school in South West Delhi, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and high-quality learning environment. This part-time, on-site role includes overseeing curriculum implementation, guiding teachers, monitoring student progress, and aligning school activities with the NGO’s educational mission. The Head of School will coordinate with staff, parents, and community partners, manage basic administrative functions, and support the design of programs that address learners’ diverse needs. Day-to-day responsibilities also include mentoring the teaching team, promoting child protection and safeguarding standards, and regularly reviewing school outcomes to recommend improvements.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Educational Leadership and Education experience, preferably in a school or learning center setting.
Candidates should possess Curriculum Development skills to design, adapt, and evaluate learner-centered, inclusive curricula.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for collaborating with teachers, learners, families, and community stakeholders.
Candidates should possess Research skills to assess educational needs, evaluate program effectiveness, and inform data-driven decisions.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Education or a related field, experience in low-resource or NGO settings, familiarity with child protection guidelines, and the ability to work on-site in South West Delhi are highly beneficial.
