Bookkeeper (Remote)

This is a remote, part-time/project-based position with flexible working hours and no fixed schedule.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
1. Bookkeeping
Handle day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including AP, AR, bank transactions, expenses, payroll journals, fixed assets, and recurring transactions.
Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded, properly coded, and supported by appropriate documentation.
2. Month-End / Period-End Closing
Support the closing process, including cut-off, accruals, prepayments, journal entries, and reconciliations.
Ensure books are accurately closed within the agreed timeline.
3. Management Accounts & Reporting
Prepare and maintain P&L, Balance Sheet, cash flow reports, KPI reports, and supporting financial schedules.
Ensure complete and accurate reporting packs are available for management review on a quarterly and annual basis.
4. Year-End Readiness
Maintain account reconciliations, supporting schedules, and a clear audit trail.
Ensure the books remain audit-ready and support efficient year-end closing activities.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Must Have
Previous experience working in a fund / investment company.
Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Solid hands-on experience in bookkeeping and financial accounting, including AP, AR, bank reconciliations, journal entries, closing, and management accounts.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks within agreed deadlines.
Nice to Have
Experience with year-end closing and audit preparation.
Experience preparing management accounts, financial reporting packs, and supporting schedules.
Experience working in a fast-paced or international environment.
Familiarity with accounting software and financial reporting tools.
