Audit & Assurance Specialist

AfterQuery is seeking Audit and Assurance professionals to create and evaluate audit reasoning challenges for our AI training modules. In this remote, flexible role, you will design realistic audit scenarios — control walkthroughs, sampling judgments, findings write-ups — that test an AI model’s ability to reason like a practicing auditor.

Responsibilities
Develop audit scenarios, control-testing exercises, and findings reviews that challenge AI models
Evaluate and validate model responses for technical accuracy and professional judgment
Collaborate with accounting and technical experts to calibrate difficulty and coverage
Required Qualifications
Experience in external or internal audit, or assurance services
Working knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and audit standards
Exceptional analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
CPA, CIA, or comparable credential
Public accounting firm experience
Familiarity with audit technology and data analytics is a plus
