Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Role
The QA engineer role will be responsible for leading our QA, testing, and testing automation efforts, to comprehensively test our large and complex hotel management platform. This role’s focus will be to automate our hundreds of UI-related tests while also introducing API-level testing across our internal services. In addition, you’ll help developers upgrade their unit and lower-level testing while continually improving our processes, tooling, technology, and documentation.Our QA engineers need strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate clearly with all departments, from engineers to the CEO. They must demonstrate strong organizational skills and independently manage quality assurance activities through proactive coordination with engineers and business teams, showcasing a high level of self-reliance in their efforts.
Responsibilities
Create and maintain test cases
Test our software and systems
Clearly document and analyze test results, issues, and conditions
Communicate clearly and concisely with engineers and customer support teams
Recommend testing, QA, and software improvements
Maintain updated knowledge of industry trends and advancements
Qualifications
QA testing experience
Software testing experience
Experience creating & maintaining test cases
Experience with test management tools (e.g. TestRails, TestMo, Qase)
Great team player and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 1 year in software testing
Minimum 1 year creating test cases
Exceptional attention to detail
Experience documenting test cases & results
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Good documentation with excellent oral and written communication skills
Continued interest in learning new tools, techniques, and technologies
