Senior Project Manager - SLA

The Opportunity
As a Senior Project Manager within the HMAX digital services portfolio, you will manage Service Level Agreement projects as a senior individual contributor. You will oversee assigned contracts from implementation through the early operational phases, coordinating project planning, execution, delivery, and transition into steady-state service operations. You will monitor schedules, risks, operational milestones, and contractual commitments while maintaining regular communication with customers. Working with product management, technical specialists, engineering teams, and HUB or global teams, you will apply established project management standards, support operational efficiency, and help grow and scale the SLA business.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Manage Service Level Agreement projects and key contracts within the HMAX digital services portfolio.
Coordinate project execution, implementation activities, planning, and delivery across assigned contracts.
Apply established project management standards and governance processes.
Monitor project progress, timelines, risks, and operational milestones.
Communicate regularly with customers about project progress and implementation activities.
Coordinate the transition of projects from implementation into steady-state service operations.
Collaborate with product management, technical specialists, engineering teams, and HUB or global teams to support delivery and deploy best practices.
Provide concise, reliable financial and status reporting covering progress, key risks, required actions, and overall initiative status.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your Background
Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, project management, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience managing complex technical or service projects, including multiple projects simultaneously in complex technical environments.
Able to organize and execute work independently while applying project management, stakeholder management, investigation, and problem-solving skills.
Experience collaborating across project management, technical, and service organizations, with effective customer and stakeholder communication capabilities.
PMP and Lean Six Sigma or Green Belt certifications are preferred. Experience with SLA or long-term service agreements, large technical projects, utility infrastructure, electrical substations, high-voltage equipment, transformers, or complex industrial service environments is also preferred.
