Senior Planning Analyst

Role Description The Senior Planning Analyst is a full-time role based in Bengaluru South with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work-from-home flexibility. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining demand and supply plans, coordinating with cross-functional teams to align forecasts, and monitoring key performance indicators to support business decisions. The Senior Planning Analyst will analyze financial and operational data, identify trends and risks, and recommend actions to optimize inventory, profitability, and service levels. Daily activities include preparing planning reports, supporting annual and monthly planning cycles, collaborating with finance and commercial teams, and presenting insights to senior stakeholders for strategic and tactical planning.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets, generate insights, and support data-driven decision-making.
Demonstrated experience in planning, including demand/supply planning, scenario planning, and supporting budgeting or forecasting processes.
Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting findings to senior management.
Experience working with key performance indicators (KPIs), including designing, tracking, and reporting metrics to measure business performance.
Solid understanding of finance concepts such as revenue, margins, costs, and financial modeling to connect planning outputs with business outcomes.
Proficiency in spreadsheets and planning tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, or planning software); experience with data visualization tools is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree or professional certification in analytics or planning is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, work in a hybrid environment, and collaborate effectively across global and local teams.
