Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Nursing Staff for OT role based at Anand Hospital in Surat. The nursing professional will assist in pre-operative preparation, intra-operative support, and post-operative care for patients undergoing surgical procedures. Daily tasks include preparing the OT, checking equipment and supplies, maintaining aseptic techniques, and supporting surgeons and anesthetists during operations. The role involves monitoring patient status, documenting nursing care, ensuring adherence to safety and infection control protocols, and coordinating with other departments as needed. The Nursing Staff member will also provide clear communication and emotional support to patients and families, while contributing to smooth OT workflows.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Nursing and Medicine-related skills to support surgical procedures and clinical decision-making.
Candidates should possess solid Patient Care and Caregiving skills to ensure comfort, safety, and recovery before and after surgery.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact with patients, families, surgeons, anesthetists, and other team members.
Completed nursing education (GNM, B.Sc. Nursing, or equivalent) with valid registration from the appropriate nursing council.
Prior experience in an operation theatre or surgical ward is preferred; familiarity with OT protocols and infection control standards is an advantage.
Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment, follow instructions accurately, and maintain attention to detail.
Willingness to work in shifts, uphold professional ethics, and participate in ongoing training and skill development.
