Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role based in Mumbai. The Chartered Accountant will handle statutory and tax audits, prepare and review financial statements, and ensure adherence to applicable accounting and tax regulations. Daily responsibilities include managing taxation matters, filing returns, supporting compliance management, and assisting clients with financial planning and risk assessment. The role also involves participating in management consultancy assignments, reviewing internal controls, and providing data-driven recommendations to improve financial efficiency. The Chartered Accountant will collaborate with internal teams and clients, maintain accurate documentation, and stay updated on changes in laws and standards.
Qualifications
Chartered Accountant qualification with valid membership from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation laws, audit procedures, and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, and financial reporting tools.
Ability to analyze financial data, identify risks, and provide clear, practical recommendations.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client-facing work and team collaboration.
High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to deadlines and quality.
Prior experience in audit, taxation, or consulting with a CA firm in Mumbai or similar market is an advantage.
Willingness to learn, adapt to regulatory changes, and contribute to process improvements.
