Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Network Engineer role based in Lucknow. The Network Engineer will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and monitoring network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems. Daily tasks include diagnosing and resolving network issues, optimizing performance, and ensuring high availability and reliability of services. The role involves implementing and reviewing network security measures, managing user access, and documenting network configurations and procedures. The Network Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, support IT projects, and assist with planning and deploying new network solutions to meet business requirements.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Network Administration and Network Engineering for managing and supporting enterprise network environments.
Hands-on experience with Troubleshooting network issues and ensuring stable, efficient connectivity.
Knowledge of Network Security practices, including firewalls, VPNs, and access control policies.
Ability to perform Network Design and implementation for LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
Familiarity with common networking hardware, operating systems, and tools (e.g., Cisco/Juniper devices, network monitoring solutions).
Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing protocols, and VLAN configurations.
Relevant degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; professional certifications (such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+) are an advantage.
Effective communication skills, ability to work collaboratively on-site, and strong documentation and organizational abilities.
Willingness to stay updated with emerging networking technologies and security best practices.
