Chief Financial Officer

We are looking for Chief Financial officer for renowned real estate development firm with a great legacy based out of Delhi/NCR
Candidate should be Chartered accountant/CPA
Should have more than 20 years of experience in the field of accounts and taxation, fund raising with at least 5 years in HOD or financial controllership role
Should have strong prior experience with Real Estate industry
Financial Strategy & Planning
Develop and drive short- and long-term financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and financial modelling for land acquisitions, project development, and investment opportunities.
Evaluate project feasibility, profitability, ROI, and capital allocation.
Budgeting, Cost Control & Performance Management
Oversee project-wise budgeting, costing, revenue and cash flow planning.
Monitor actual performance against budgets and prepare variance analysis and management reports.
Drive cost optimisation, efficient fund utilisation, and improved project profitability.
Accounting, Reporting & Controls
Oversee all accounting operations, including AP, AR, revenue recognition, cash transactions, book closure, and consolidation.
Ensure timely preparation of P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statements, MIS, and other management reports.
Establish robust financial policies, internal controls, and governance frameworks.
Ensure compliance with Indian GAAP, IFRS, statutory and regulatory requirements, and manage internal and external audits.
Cash Flow, Working Capital & Treasury
Manage liquidity, working capital, cash flow projections, collections, disbursements, and banking relationships.
Ensure optimum utilisation of funds and availability of capital for ongoing operations and new projects.
Work closely with business and functional teams to strengthen collections and overall cash flow.
Fund Raising & Capital Management
Lead financial planning and presentations for investors, private equity, banks, NBFCs, and other financial institutions.
Support fundraising and project financing for acquisitions and developments.
Structure and manage debt and equity financing, construction loans, refinancing, and long-term debt.
Ensure transparent financial reporting and maintain investor confidence.
Risk, Taxation & Compliance
Assess and mitigate financial risks related to market fluctuations, interest rates, project costs, and investments.
Oversee direct and indirect taxation, including tax planning, GST, assessments, audits, reconciliations, and statutory filings.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, including RERA, SEBI (where applicable), and corporate tax requirements.
Systems, Process Improvement & Team Leadership
Lead the implementation and effective utilisation of Farvision ERP and other financial technology solutions.
Drive process improvements, automation, financial analytics, and stronger governance.
Lead, develop, and upskill the Finance, Accounts, and Taxation teams.
Stakeholder Management
Partner with senior management and cross-functional teams on financial decision-making and business performance.
Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, banks, financial institutions, and investors.
