Key Responsibilities
Handling patent prosecution before the Indian Patent Office
Drafting responses to First Examination Reports and other objections
Attending hearings before the Controllers
Advising clients on filing and protection strategy, and managing prosecution workflows
Eligibility
Registered Indian Patent Agent (mandatory)
M.Sc. Chemistry, or M.Tech in Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry / Polymer Chemistry
Please note: candidates with a pharmacy, biotechnology or biology background are not eligible for this role
2–3 years of Indian patent prosecution experience at a patent law firm in Delhi NCR
LL.B. and/or enrolment as an Advocate is an added advantage
Excellent command over technical and legal drafting in English
