Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented DevOps Engineer who will play a key role in building scalable, secure, and highly reliable cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with our software engineering teams, optimize systems performance, drive CI/CD implementation, and ensure smooth deployment and operational excellence across systems.
Roles & Responsibilities
Contribute to the architecture, deployment, and maintenance of scalable cloud-based systems.
Work with cloud computing models including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
Manage and optimize infrastructure on cloud platforms (preferably AWS or GCP).
Implement and maintain IaC practices using tools like Terraform and configuration management tools like Puppet.
Utilize container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and ensure efficient orchestration and deployment.
Setup, manage, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using DevOps toolchains (e.g. GitLab).
Work closely with engineering teams to support scalable and secure platform solutions.
Build and maintain monitoring dashboards and alerts to ensure system reliability and uptime.
Ensure security best practices, including VPC configuration, networking standards, identity, access management, and compliance.
Support elastic data and logging systems including Elasticsearch.
Participate in sprint planning, technical discussions, and DevOps process improvements.
Monitor cloud infrastructure costs and optimize resource utilization.
Required Skills & Experience
2–3 years of hands-on experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering roles.
Strong understanding of cloud environments (preferably GCP and/or AWS).
Experience with Terraform and configuration management tools like Puppet.
Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Strong understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD practices and automation.
Scripting knowledge using languages such as Python or PowerShell.
Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
Good understanding of networking concepts, VPCs, and security best practices.
Good to Have (Bonus Skills)
Experience in cloud architecture design, deployment, or migration.
Familiarity with automation tools supporting CI/CD pipeline setup and enhancements.
Experience with REST APIs and system integrations.
Exposure to managing large-scale systems or big data environments.
Experience managing cloud-based databases.
