Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer based in the Pune Division. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and scripts to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability. The engineer will create and execute test cases, perform manual testing when necessary, and document test results, defects, and recommendations. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with developers and product teams, reviewing requirements and specifications, participating in code and design reviews, and contributing to continuous improvement of QA processes and tools. The role also includes ensuring adherence to quality standards, supporting release planning, and helping troubleshoot issues in test and production environments.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Quality Assurance principles and Software Testing methodologies.
Experience creating, executing, and managing Test Cases for functional, regression, and integration testing.
Hands-on skills in Manual Testing, including exploratory and user acceptance testing.
Proficiency in QA Automation, including building and maintaining automated test suites and frameworks.
Familiarity with test management tools, defect tracking systems, and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of at least one programming or scripting language commonly used in test automation.
Ability to analyze requirements, identify edge cases, and communicate issues clearly to cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Prior experience in a similar QA or test automation role in software development environments is preferred.
