Role
We are looking for a MikroTik specialist with deep hands-on experience designing, configuring, securing, automating, and troubleshooting networks running MikroTik RouterOS.
Responsibilities
Configure and manage MikroTik routers and switches.
Design routing and network architecture.
Configure VLANs, bridges, bonding and network segmentation.
Configure static and dynamic routing.
Work with BGP, OSPF and related routing technologies.
Configure NAT and firewall policies.
Configure QoS, queues, traffic shaping and bandwidth management.
Configure VPNs including WireGuard and IPsec.
Build multi-WAN, load-balancing and failover configurations.
Configure DHCP, DNS and related network services.
Secure RouterOS devices.
Integrate MikroTik devices with our software/platform.
Automate configuration and monitoring using RouterOS API/REST API/scripts.
Monitor network health and troubleshoot packet loss, latency, routing and connectivity problems.
Maintain configuration backups and recovery procedures.
Document network architecture.
Required Skills
Strong MikroTik RouterOS experience.
RouterOS v7.
TCP/IP and subnetting.
VLANs.
Routing.
BGP / OSPF.
NAT.
Firewall.
VPN.
DHCP/DNS.
QoS and bandwidth management.
Network troubleshooting.
Wireshark / packet analysis.
MikroTik API and/or scripting.
Preferred
MTCNA certification.
MTCRE / MTCINE or equivalent advanced MikroTik knowledge.
Python automation.
ISP/datacenter networking experience.
High-availability router configurations.
Large-scale deployments.
