Senior Finance Manager

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant to be part of the finance function at Gnani. This is a hands-on, high-impact role that spans financial planning, accounting, audit, compliance, investor relationship and systems — ideal for someone who wants to go beyond routine finance work and be a business partner to leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting:
➢ Own Bookkeeping/ Accounting
➢ Financial Preparation with consolidation of subsidiary
➢ Monthly P&L/ MIS preparation, Month-end / Year-end Close Process
➢ Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR/ RCM/SOP)
➢ Leading external audit with Big 6 auditor (Statutory, Internal & Tax)
➢ Own AP/ AR Process & Vendor Reconciliations
➢ ERP and process automation and improvement➢ Support Financial Due Diligence (FDD)
➢ Oversee direct and indirect tax compliance — advance tax, TDS returns, GST return, along with tax assessments
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
➢ Prepare MIS reports, variance analysis, and financial dashboards for leadership and investors.
➢ Own the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process
➢ Support business decisions with financial modelling and scenario analysis
➢ Improvement in debtor recovery days & Expense Management/ Cost Analysis
➢ Treasury/ Cashflow Management, Banker Relation & Cash flow forecasting
What We Are Looking For
➢ Qualified CA with 4–5 years of post-qualification experience
➢ Prior experience in a technology / SaaS / startup environment preferred
➢ Strong understanding of Ind AS / Indian GAAP
➢ Hands-on experience with systems — Zoho, Tally, MS Office➢ Experience managing statutory and internal audits, preferably with Big 6
➢ Strong analytical skills — comfortable with financial modelling and MIS
➢ Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities➢ Good communication skills — comfortable presenting to leadership and investors
