Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Project Manager role based in Patiala. The Project Manager will oversee end-to-end project execution for road and bridge construction, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination with site teams, contractors, and government stakeholders. Daily responsibilities include monitoring project progress, managing budgets and timelines, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards, and resolving operational issues on site. The role also involves supervising inspections, documentation, and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements, while driving continuous improvement in construction processes and project delivery.
Qualifications
Project Management skills, including planning, scheduling, and coordination of infrastructure or construction projects.
Expeditor and Expediting experience to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services to project sites.
Inspection skills for quality control, safety compliance, and verification of work against design specifications and standards.
Logistics Management capabilities for organizing transport, storage, and on-site distribution of materials and equipment.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline; a project management certification (e.g., PMP, equivalent) is an advantage.
Proven experience managing road or bridge construction projects, preferably under EPC contracts and working with government authorities.
Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills, with the ability to guide multidisciplinary site teams.
Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office; familiarity with construction management software is beneficial.
