Job Title: Product Manager – Trainee
Role Overview
We are looking for highly motivated and analytical MBA graduates to join our team as Product Manager – Trainee. This is an exciting opportunity for aspiring product professionals to work closely with product leaders, engineering teams, and business stakeholders in building next-generation AI-powered accelerator platforms, products, and enterprise solutions.
The selected candidate will gain hands-on experience in product strategy, customer research, market analysis, roadmap planning, and product lifecycle management while contributing to innovative AI-driven products.
Key Responsibilities
Assist Product Leaders in defining product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
Conduct customer research to understand user needs, business challenges, and pain points.
Gather and analyze customer feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancement.
Define and document use cases, user stories, and product requirements.
Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog in collaboration with engineering teams.
Work closely with highly skilled engineering teams developing AI-based platforms, products, and solutions.
Support market research activities, including industry trends, customer insights, and competitive analysis.
Collaborate with marketing teams on product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market initiatives.
Monitor product performance and recommend improvements based on data-driven insights.
Prepare presentations, reports, and product documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
MBA (2025 Pass-out or later) from a reputed Business School with a First-Class academic record.
0-1 year of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Consulting, Technology Management, or related areas.
Specialization in one or more of the following:
IT Management/Information Systems Management/Technology Management/Digital Transformation/Analytics
Strong understanding of product management concepts and methodologies.
Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to translate business problems into product requirements and use cases.
Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills.
Willingness to work from Chennai.
Preferred Skills
Certifications in Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI.
Understanding of:
Generative AI (GenAI)
Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
Agentic AI
Model Context Protocol (MCP)
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Exposure to product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, or similar platforms.
Knowledge of enterprise software products and digital platforms.
Strong business acumen with an innovation-driven mindset.
Relevant Experience Preferred
Academic or internship projects related to Product Management, Business Analysis, AI, Analytics, or Digital Transformation.
Exposure to customer research, market analysis, or competitor analysis.
Experience preparing business cases, product presentations, or strategic recommendations.
Participation in product management competitions, hackathons, innovation challenges, or startup initiatives.
Experience working with cross-functional teams comprising business, technology, and marketing functions.
