Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team on a per diem basis - 5 hours a week minimum, max 20 hours a week. As a Nurse Practitioner at FemGevity, you will play a crucial role in delivering virtual healthcare services to women experiencing the various stages of menopause. Your expertise will contribute to providing evidence-based care, personalized treatment plans, and support that will positively impact our patients' overall well-being.
Responsibilities
Conduct virtual consultations with patients to assess their medical history, symptoms, and concerns related to menopause.
Perform comprehensive assessments and order relevant diagnostic tests as needed.
Develop personalized treatment plans that may include hormone therapy, lifestyle modifications, and other appropriate interventions.
Provide education and guidance to patients regarding menopause, its effects, and potential treatment options.
Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, including physicians, and nutritionists, to offer holistic care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records and documentation.
Stay informed about the latest research, developments, and best practices in menopause management.
Qualifications
Valid Nurse Practitioner license or equivalent in any of the following locations NY, NJ, CA, TX, FL, MI, PA
Certification as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, Certified Nurse Midwife, Family Nurse Practitioner or relevant specialization is preferred.
Experience in women's health, gynecology, or endocrinology is a plus.
Proficiency in conducting virtual healthcare visits and using telemedicine platforms.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong patient-provider relationships.
Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
