Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quality Assurance Automation Engineer role based in Bengaluru. The person in this role will design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for web and backend systems, ensuring product stability and performance. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and reviewing test plans and test cases, executing automated and manual tests, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating with developers and product teams to resolve issues. The engineer will help define QA standards, contribute to test frameworks and tooling, and participate in regression, integration, and release testing. The role also involves monitoring test results, analyzing root causes of failures, and recommending improvements to processes and systems.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Quality Assurance principles and Software Testing practices.
Hands-on experience in designing and executing Test Cases and conducting Manual Testing.
Proficiency in QA Automation, including building and maintaining automated test frameworks.
Experience with test management tools, bug-tracking systems, and version control (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Git).
Knowledge of programming or scripting languages commonly used in test automation (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into build and deployment workflows.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on reliability.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in the media, entertainment, or music industry is a plus.
