Job Title: Sr. Test Engineer - Playwright
Job location – Bangalore
Budget - Max 18 LPA
Job Type - FullTime (Hybrid/Onsite)
Experience required: 6-10 years
Key Responsibilities
· System Test Architecture (STA)
· Contribute to the creation and execution of System Test Strategies for complex enterprise programs.
· Analyze business and technical requirements to identify test scope, dependencies, risks, and quality gates.
· Define execution models for SIT and E2E testing activities.
· Collaborate with development, product, architecture, and testing teams to ensure end-to-end quality coverage.
· Support quality governance activities including traceability, risk assessments, and go/no-go recommendations.
· Test Automation
· Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.
· Automate Web UI, API, Integration, and E2E test scenarios.
· Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
· Improve automation coverage, execution stability, and reporting capabilities.
· Develop reusable utilities, simulators, mocks, and test data generation solutions.
· Testing & Quality Engineering
· Perform Functional, Integration, System, Regression, and End-to-End testing.
· Participate in requirement reviews and test planning activities.
· Define comprehensive test scenarios covering positive, negative, boundary, and failure conditions.
· Perform defect triage, root cause analysis, and verification.
· Track and report test execution metrics, automation progress, and quality KPIs.
· Collaboration & Leadership
· Work with cross-functional teams to identify testing dependencies and environment requirements.
· Mentor junior testers and promote automation best practices.
· Participate in Agile ceremonies and quality governance reviews.
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and quality.
