Data Analyst

Role Description The Data Analyst will work full time on-site in Mysore, supporting data-driven decision-making across Avalon Properties’ residential and investment operations. This role involves gathering, cleaning, and organizing data from multiple internal and external sources, and building reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators related to occupancy, pricing, and tenant experience. The Data Analyst will perform statistical analyses, create data models, and provide insights that help optimize rental strategies, forecast demand, and improve operational efficiency. Daily tasks include collaborating with business stakeholders to understand data needs, translating requirements into analytical solutions, and presenting findings in clear, actionable formats. The role also includes contributing to continuous improvement of data quality, documentation, and reporting standards.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills and experience in data analytics to interpret complex datasets and generate actionable insights.
Solid foundation in statistics to design analyses, build forecasts, and evaluate trends and performance metrics.
Experience with data modeling to structure data effectively for reporting, dashboards, and business intelligence tools.
Clear and professional communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
Proficiency with spreadsheet tools and data visualization platforms (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) and SQL or similar query languages.
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
Ability to work on-site in Mysore, manage multiple priorities, and deliver accurate work within deadlines.
Experience in real estate, property management, or financial analytics is an advantage, as is familiarity with Python or R for data analysis.
