Role Description
The Public Relations Communications Executive will manage day-to-day PR activities, including drafting press releases, developing media materials, and coordinating outreach to journalists and media outlets. This full-time, on-site role in Chandigarh involves maintaining strong media relationships, monitoring coverage, and identifying opportunities for thought leadership, interviews, and features. The executive will work closely with internal stakeholders and clients to align messaging, prepare talking points, and support events or announcements with effective communication strategies. Responsibilities also include tracking campaign performance, preparing reports, and ensuring consistent brand voice across all public-facing communications.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Press Releases and Writing, with the ability to craft clear, compelling, and accurate content.
Proficiency in Media Relations and Public Relations, including managing journalist outreach and building professional networks.
Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas clearly to diverse stakeholders.
Experience in PR campaign execution, story pitching, and managing media lists and coverage trackers.
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Comfort working on-site in Chandigarh in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Prior agency or in-house PR experience and familiarity with digital and social media platforms are beneficial.
