Career Launch Tech Initiative (CLTI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to equip underserved communities with the technology, training, and resources necessary to access career development opportunities.
The Role:
CLTI is seeking a Volunteer Software Engineer to collaborate with one of our partner companies, providing pro-bono software engineering support on impactful projects. This is a unique opportunity to contribute your expertise to initiatives that drive social good while gaining hands-on experience and expanding your professional network.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the engineering team of a partner company to design, develop, and maintain software solutions.
Build scalable and efficient applications.
Leverage knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to enhance project outcomes.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand project goals and align technical solutions accordingly.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s student or graduate in Computer Science or a related field.
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning is a plus.
Passion for leveraging technology to create meaningful social impact.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
