Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Architect role based in Belgaum. The Junior Architect will support senior architects in developing architectural concepts, preparing drawings and 3D models, and assisting with design documentation. Daily tasks include collaborating on project planning, coordinating with consultants, and contributing to design reviews and technical detailing. The role also involves helping integrate design requirements with structural, MEP, and other systems, as well as maintaining project files and ensuring adherence to codes and standards. The Junior Architect will participate in site visits, assist in monitoring construction progress, and provide timely updates to the project team.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to translate concepts into clear drawings and models.
Understanding of Software Development and Integration as they relate to architectural tools and workflows (e.g., CAD/BIM platforms, design collaboration software).
Basic experience or coursework in Project Management, including planning, coordination, and documentation of project tasks.
Proficiency in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and familiarity with building codes and standards.
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or an equivalent recognized qualification.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and interact professionally with clients and consultants.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and willingness to learn from feedback.
Ability to work on-site in Belgaum and manage time efficiently across multiple project tasks.
