Role Description This is an on-site Interior Designer role based in Bengaluru South. Candidate will assist in developing design concepts, preparing mood boards, and supporting space planning for residential, commercial, or mixed-use interiors. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with senior designers, helping produce construction drawings, coordinating FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selections, and supporting vendor and materials research. The role also involves participating in client meetings, documenting design decisions, and ensuring that project deliverables align with brand and budget requirements. This internship is intended to provide hands-on learning and exposure to the full interior design process from concept to execution.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Interior Design and Space Planning, with an understanding of functional layouts and aesthetic principles.
Candidates should possess skills related to Architecture and Construction Drawings, including basic knowledge of building systems and technical documentation.
Candidates should possess skills in FF&E selection, including materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures coordination.
Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint) is beneficial.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Strong attention to detail, visual sense, time management, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
Basic knowledge of sustainable design practices and local building regulations in India is an advantage.
