## About the Role
Deployteq is seeking a **Software Engineer** to join its Product Team in **Huis ter Heide, Netherlands**. Deployteq is a specialist in online marketing technology, developing and delivering solutions for customers worldwide. You will design, develop, improve, and test products while working independently as part of a Scrum team and contributing to the broader technical direction, architecture, and infrastructure.
The role combines hands-on software development with technical guidance, knowledge sharing, product improvement, and second-line technical support. You will work closely with the Product Director, Product Team, and Support Team while helping maintain product quality, security, and continuous innovation.
## Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and implement new product features and improvements.
* Translate complex concepts and technical designs into structured software solutions.
* Provide technical input and guidance on complex technical challenges.
* Provide second-line support for technical issues and defects.
* Review and support the work of junior developers.
* Contribute to development and testing environments.
* Contribute to the broader technical direction and ensure solutions align with overall architecture and infrastructure.
* Share technical knowledge and support continuous product improvement.
* Follow internal processes and ISO 27001 standards to maintain quality and reduce risks.
* Handle sensitive company and customer information responsibly.
* Collaborate closely with the Product Director, Product Team, and Support Team.
* Participate in project and team meetings.
## Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
* At least **3 years of software development experience**.
* Experience with object-oriented development and web technologies.
* Strong understanding of IT systems, computing, and internet technologies.
* Ability to translate abstract concepts into practical software solutions.
* Experience with one or both of the core programming technologies: **PHP and/or Go**.
* Experience with **MySQL**.
* Experience with **Kubernetes**.
* Experience with **CI/CD**, including Argo.
## Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with **ClickHouse**.
* Linux experience.
* JavaScript experience.
* RabbitMQ experience.
* Redis experience.
* Experience with additional modern software development and infrastructure technologies.
