Role Description The Information Technology Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, supporting the hospital’s clinical and administrative operations. This role involves providing day-to-day technical support for hardware, software, networks, and hospital information systems, including installation, configuration, and maintenance. The technician will respond to IT service requests, diagnose and resolve technical issues, and escalate complex problems when needed to ensure minimal downtime. Responsibilities include assisting staff with user account management, system access, and application use, while maintaining documentation of incidents, solutions, and asset inventory. The role also involves collaborating with vendors, supporting routine updates and backups, and helping train hospital staff on basic IT tools and best practices to maintain secure and efficient systems.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Information Technology skills, including familiarity with operating systems, networks, and common business or healthcare applications.
Candidates should possess Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing hardware, software, and connectivity issues and implementing effective solutions.
Candidates should possess Technical Support experience in handling service requests, incident management, and system maintenance in a helpdesk or support role.
Candidates should possess Customer Service and Training abilities to assist diverse users, communicate clearly, and provide basic guidance on system use.
Relevant diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) are an advantage.
Experience in healthcare or hospital IT environments, including exposure to EHR/HIS systems, is beneficial.
Strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks, and readiness to work in a fast-paced clinical setting, including occasional shift or weekend support as required.
