Role Description The Distributor role at Aaploo is a full-time, hybrid position based in New Delhi, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. The Distributor is responsible for managing wholesale and retail distribution channels, building and maintaining relationships with retailers, partners, and stockists, and ensuring timely product deliveries. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with logistics and operations teams, monitoring inventory levels, and supporting sales initiatives to increase brand visibility and market penetration. The role involves tracking orders, resolving distribution issues, preparing basic sales and stock reports, and maintaining consistent brand standards across all points of sale. The Distributor also collaborates with the sales and marketing teams to execute promotional activities and gather market feedback.
Qualifications
Experience in distribution, retail, or sales operations in luxury goods, fragrances, or lifestyle products.
Strong relationship management and communication skills to engage with retailers, partners, and internal teams.
Basic knowledge of inventory management, order processing, and logistics coordination.
Ability to analyze sales and stock data, prepare simple reports, and use MS Excel or similar tools.
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining premium brand standards at all distribution touchpoints.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple accounts, and handle on-ground visits in New Delhi and nearby areas.
Proficiency in English and Hindi; additional regional languages are an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field preferred.
Prior experience with emerging or luxury brands and an interest in fragrances and lifestyle products is a plus.
