Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Sales Manager at SBI Life Insurance Co. Ltd. The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading and developing a sales team, setting and monitoring sales targets, and driving the growth of life insurance products across assigned markets and channels. Daily activities include planning and executing sales strategies, tracking performance metrics, coaching and motivating team members, and coordinating with internal stakeholders for product, pricing, and customer service support. The role involves building and maintaining relationships with distributors, agents, and corporate partners, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies, and promoting a customer-centric sales culture. The Sales Manager will regularly analyze market trends, prepare sales reports, and recommend improvements to processes and digital tools to enhance productivity and customer experience.
Qualifications
Strong sales leadership, team management, and performance coaching skills, with experience setting and achieving ambitious sales targets.
Expertise in relationship management, stakeholder coordination, and channel development, preferably with distributors, agents, or corporate partners.
Proficiency in sales planning, pipeline management, and use of CRM or digital sales tools to track activities and outcomes.
Solid knowledge of life insurance or financial services products, with an understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and motivate diverse teams remotely.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including comfort with data-driven decision-making and reporting.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage.
Proven experience in sales management or key account management; prior experience in insurance or BFSI sector is highly preferred.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to digital tools and evolving processes.
