The Yellow Dwelling is an all natural, contemporary home furnishings brand specialising in 100% cotton and linen products. With 8 retail stores and a growing D2C presence across India, we are building a brand that brings beautiful, thoughtful and natural home furnishings into everyday homes.
We are looking for a Social Media Specialist who is creative, hands on and loves creating content. Someone who understands social media beyond just posting and can bring ideas to life through shoots, reels, editing and strong storytelling.
What You’ll Do
• Own and manage the monthly social media content calendar.
• Plan, shoot and edit engaging content for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and other relevant platforms.
• Be hands on with reels, videos, photos and static content from concept to execution.
• Coordinate and manage photoshoots, including working with photographers, videographers and freelancers.
• Stay updated with social media trends, formats and conversations and find relevant ways for the brand to participate.
• Maintain the overall visual language, tone and aesthetic of The Yellow Dwelling across platforms.
• Manage influencer collaborations from outreach and coordination to content delivery and publishing.
• Support the team in planning and executing brand campaigns, launches and shoots.
• Work closely with the marketing and creative teams to bring new content ideas to life.
What We’re Looking For
• 2 to 3 years of experience in social media, content or digital marketing.
• Strong understanding of Instagram, Reels and current social media formats.
• Hands on experience with shooting and editing content.
• Good knowledge of Canva, Filmora, CapCut or other photo and video editing tools.
• A strong eye for aesthetics, visual storytelling and brand consistency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Someone who is proactive, curious and comfortable taking ownership.
• A genuine interest in interiors, home decor, lifestyle and design is a plus.
• Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred.
