Role Description
Wevid Ventures Private Limited is looking for an experienced Execution Head – Corporate Catering Operations to lead the end-to-end execution of corporate and premium catering assignments in Hyderabad.
The Execution Head will be responsible for converting confirmed orders into well-planned, coordinated and successfully executed events.
This role will oversee event readiness, manpower, equipment, transportation, site setup, service operations, client/site coordination, event closure and operational reporting.
The role requires strong experience in corporate catering, event catering, hospitality operations or large-scale food-service environments, with the ability to manage multiple events, teams and operational priorities simultaneously.
The Execution Head will work closely with the Kitchen Operations Head, Execution Managers, Kitchen Supervisors, Service Teams, Procurement/Stores and Management to ensure every event is executed according to agreed requirements and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Order Review & Execution Planning
Review confirmed catering orders and understand menu, quantity, venue, timing and service requirements.
Convert confirmed orders into detailed execution plans.
Identify manpower, equipment, transportation, service and site requirements.
Establish event timelines and execution checkpoints.
Ensure all operational requirements are communicated to the relevant teams.
Identify potential execution risks before the event.
Event Preparation & Readiness
Ensure equipment, cutlery, crockery, disposables, serving equipment and other event materials are planned and available.
Coordinate with kitchen and execution teams to ensure food and materials are ready according to the event schedule.
Ensure transportation and logistics arrangements are completed on time.
Conduct pre-event readiness checks.
Ensure appropriate manpower is assigned to each event.
Event Site Setup
Oversee venue arrival, unloading and site preparation.
Ensure buffet counters, service areas and other required event areas are properly arranged.
Ensure staff are positioned according to the event plan.
Coordinate with venue representatives and site contacts.
Ensure the event is ready for service before the scheduled start time.
Service Operations
Supervise service operations during corporate and premium catering events.
Ensure buffet counters and service areas are properly maintained.
Monitor food replenishment and service availability.
Ensure service staff follow expected grooming, behaviour and service standards.
Ensure guest-service issues are handled professionally.
Coordinate continuously with the kitchen team during service.
Client & Site Coordination
Act as the primary operational point of contact during assigned events.
Coordinate with clients, venue representatives and other event stakeholders.
Understand and address operational requirements raised during the event.
Handle service-related complaints and operational issues.
Escalate major issues to management when required.
Ensure client requirements are communicated clearly to the relevant teams.
Manpower Management
Plan manpower requirements based on event size and service requirements.
Allocate Execution Managers, Captains and service staff to events.
Ensure staff report on time and are appropriately positioned.
Monitor staff performance and discipline.
Maintain a reliable backup manpower plan for unexpected absences.
Identify and develop reliable service personnel for future events.
Equipment & Material Control
Ensure event equipment and materials are dispatched according to requirements.
Maintain proper control over reusable equipment, cutlery and other returnable items.
Ensure materials are accounted for after the event.
Coordinate collection and return of equipment to the designated location.
Report losses, damages or shortages.
Event Closure
Ensure food service and event activities are properly closed.
Coordinate collection of equipment and materials.
Ensure the venue is left in an appropriate condition.
Confirm completion of event requirements with the client/site representative where applicable.
Ensure pending issues are recorded and communicated.
Complete event closure reporting.
Incident Management & Escalation
Take ownership of operational issues during events.
Respond quickly to shortages, delays, manpower gaps, equipment issues and service problems.
Assess the impact of incidents and coordinate corrective action.
Escalate critical issues to management with clear information and recommended actions.
Ensure corrective actions are documented and followed through.
Reporting & Operational Control
Maintain daily event execution reports.
Track event readiness, manpower, equipment and operational issues.
Review execution performance across events.
Identify recurring operational problems and recommend process improvements.
Ensure Execution Managers follow established SOPs.
Maintain operational discipline and accountability across the execution team.
What We're Looking For
3+ years of experience in catering, hospitality, banquet, event or food-service operations.
Strong experience in corporate catering, large-scale event catering, institutional catering or hospitality operations.
Proven experience managing multiple events, teams or operational activities.
Experience managing large service teams and supervisors.
Strong understanding of event setup, buffet operations and food-service execution.
Strong client and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent coordination and communication skills.
Strong problem-solving and escalation-management abilities.
Ability to work under strict timelines and operational pressure.
Willingness to work on-site, including weekends, evenings and holidays when events require.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in:
Corporate catering
Institutional catering
Large-scale event catering
Hotel banquet operations
Hospitality operations

Premium catering
Large-volume food service
will be preferred.
