Site Inspection Engineer – Solar
- Conduct site inspections for solar PV projects and monitor the progress and quality of installation work.
- Inspect solar modules, mounting structures, DC/AC cables, inverters, earthing systems, and other electrical equipment.
- Verify installation activities as per approved drawings, technical specifications, and project standards.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and site teams for smooth execution and timely completion of work.
- Identify site issues, defects, and pending activities and follow up for corrective actions.
- Prepare daily site inspection reports, work progress reports, and site observations.
- Prepare and maintain JMR (Joint Measurement Report) for completed site activities and work quantities.
- Coordinate with vendors for joint verification and measurement of completed work for JMR preparation.
- Verify work quantities at site and maintain proper documentation for billing and project records.
- Monitor material availability and utilization at the project site.
- Support testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities of solar plant equipment.
- Monitor solar plant performance through SCADA, including generation, voltage, current, inverter status, alarms, and other operating parameters.
