We are looking for two data engineering profiles to join our offshore team in Vizag for the International POS Data Integration project.
The team will extend the client's Microsoft Fabric POS platform to automate the acquisition, standardization, and ingestion of international retail data feeds (including B&Q, Screwfix, Toolstation, Travis Perkins, Wickes, and Amazon UK) across a Bronze rightarrow Silver rightarrows Gold medallion architecture. Key ResponsibilitiesSenior Data Engineer (Lead Profile):Lead the design, architecture, and extension of the Microsoft Fabric lakehouse and pipeline framework. Design automated acquisition mechanisms across APIs, vendor web portals, scheduled exports, and flat files. Extend domestic POS star-schema and dimensional data models to support international retailers, currency conversions (local currencies to USD), and enterprise dimensions (SAP Material, Customer, Fiscal Calendar). Enable semantic modeling and business context within Microsoft Fabric to support Copilot/Data Agent natural-language queries. Deliver comprehensive technical documentation and lead operational handoff and knowledge transfer sessions to client BI and IT teams
