Inovako develops AI-powered industrial vision and automation systems for manufacturing environments. We build real-world solutions for automotive and industrial customers, helping factories improve quality, reduce defects, and automate inspection processes.
Our work goes beyond training models. We design complete systems, from cameras and image acquisition to AI algorithms and deployment on production lines.
We are looking for an AI & Computer Vision Engineer who enjoys solving practical engineering challenges and building technology that works in real production environments.
Responsibilities
Design and develop computer vision solutions for industrial inspection and automation systems
Build AI pipelines for defect detection, segmentation, anomaly detection, object detection, and classification
Work with image acquisition systems including industrial cameras, optics, and lighting setups
Train, evaluate, and optimize deep learning models
Develop data pipelines, annotation workflows, and dataset preparation strategies
Deploy and optimize AI solutions for edge devices and production environments
Collaborate with mechanical, automation, and software engineers
Participate in customer projects and help translate real industrial problems into technical solutions
Research and test state-of-the-art AI and computer vision technologies
Requirements
Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, or related fields
Strong understanding of Computer Vision fundamentals
Experience with Python
Experience with OpenCV
Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
Familiarity with object detection and segmentation models
Understanding of image processing techniques
Experience working with datasets and annotations
Ability to read research papers and implement ideas
Strong problem-solving skills
Good written and spoken English
Nice to Have
Experience with industrial machine vision systems
Experience with anomaly detection methods such as PatchCore or related approaches
Experience with Vision Transformers and multimodal models
Knowledge of NVIDIA GPU optimization, TensorRT, or edge deployment
Familiarity with Docker, Linux, Git, and APIs
Experience with industrial communication protocols (Profinet, OPC-UA, PLC integration)
Experience with camera calibration, pose estimation, or 3D vision
Experience with MLOps or production deployment
