Key responsibilities
• Assist with monitoring and reviewing security-related alerts and logs.
• Support authorized vulnerability assessment and security-review activities.
• Assist with identifying common security weaknesses in approved systems and applications.
• Review basic network and system configurations for security considerations.
• Work with Linux systems and security-related command-line tools.
• Assist with documenting security findings and recommended remediation steps.
• Support access-control and account-review activities.
• Help maintain cybersecurity checklists, trackers, and documentation.
• Assist with security awareness and best-practice documentation.
• Research common cybersecurity threats and defensive controls.
• Support incident documentation and escalation under supervision.
• Follow organizational security policies and authorized testing procedures.
