🌟 About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and hospitality-focused Hotel General Manager to lead the overall operations and performance of our hotel in the United Arab Emirates.
In this senior leadership role, you will oversee hotel operations, guest experience, financial performance, team leadership, sales and marketing, quality standards, and operational efficiency. You will work closely with department heads and senior management to ensure exceptional service, strong operational performance, and a positive guest experience.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee the overall day-to-day operations of the hotel.
Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with business objectives.
Manage hotel departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Engineering, Sales, Finance, and Human Resources.
Monitor hotel performance, occupancy, revenue, guest satisfaction, and operational KPIs.
Develop and manage annual operating plans, budgets, and departmental targets.
Work closely with sales and marketing teams to support revenue growth and market positioning.
Ensure consistently high standards of guest service and hospitality.
Monitor guest feedback, reviews, complaints, and service-recovery initiatives.
Establish and maintain hotel policies, procedures, and operating standards.
Ensure compliance with applicable UAE regulations, health and safety requirements, and company policies.
Lead recruitment, training, performance management, and development of hotel employees.
Build a strong culture of teamwork, professionalism, accountability, and service excellence.
Monitor staffing levels and workforce requirements to support efficient hotel operations.
Manage relationships with owners, corporate management, suppliers, partners, and other key stakeholders.
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and control costs.
Oversee property maintenance, facilities, safety, security, and asset-management activities.
Prepare regular operational and financial reports for senior management or ownership.
Lead hotel projects, renovations, openings, restructuring, and other strategic initiatives as required.
Promote a positive guest experience and maintain the hotel’s brand and service standards.

Extensive experience in hotel operations and hospitality management.
Proven experience in a senior hotel-management or General Manager position.
Strong understanding of hotel operations, guest services, and hospitality standards.
Excellent financial and commercial awareness.
Strong knowledge of revenue management, budgeting, and cost control.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to lead large and diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
Strong customer-service mindset and attention to operational detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high service standards.
🎓 Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Significant experience in hotel or hospitality operations.
Proven experience leading hotel teams and multiple operational departments.
Experience managing budgets, financial performance, and operational KPIs.
Experience with hotel property-management systems (PMS) and hospitality technology is an advantage.
Knowledge of UAE hospitality regulations and operating requirements is preferred.
Relevant hospitality-management certifications are an advantage.
Strong command of English; Arabic and additional languages are an advantage.
