The Role
We're looking for a Freelance Video Editor to shape the visual storytelling behind The North Axis's programs, campaigns, and learning content. You'll work on-site in Noida, closely with our content, design, and marketing teams, turning raw footage into polished, high-impact videos that speak to students and young professionals.
What You'll Do
- Organize, trim, and assemble footage into cohesive, engaging edits
- Add transitions, effects, graphics, and motion elements
- Handle audio adjustment and color correction/grading
- Prepare final deliverables optimized for multiple platforms (social, web, in-program use)
- Collaborate on concept development and experiment with new formats for social and educational content
- Maintain consistent visual storytelling and brand alignment across all projects
What You Bring
- Strong video editing and production skills — footage management, timelines, storytelling
- Proficiency in color grading, with a consistent, appealing visual style
- Motion graphics skills to enhance branding, explanations, and engagement
- Hands-on expertise with industry-standard tools (Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop/Illustrator or equivalents)
- Ability to interpret creative briefs, work cross-functionally, and deliver on deadline
- Strong attention to detail, pacing sense, and understanding of content for a student/young-professional audience
- Bonus: experience creating educational, social-media, or youth-centric content
- Bonus: relevant coursework, certification, or degree in film, media, or design (not mandatory)
